Introduction
An organisation has certain mandatory resources, such as computer systems, printers, rooms and more. Management of these resources and keeping a record of this helps the organisation in cutting down extra expenses. Tactic ERP & CRM software helps the users in managing their organisational resources as well. The users can easily add a good number of resources very easily, without having to face much complexity. The primary purpose of resources module is to create a manage resources that are associated with the organisation, such as rooms, cars, computers, printers and etc.
Installation
There is no need of installing this module, as it is already included within Tactic services.
Setup
For using this module the users need to enable it by using an administrator account. The menu options for activating this module are: Home –> Setup – > Module. The users then need to click on Activate. The modules will be activated after completing this step.
Functionalities of Resources Module
- Management of list of resources
- Adding notes to resources
- Linking documents to resources
- Linking events to resources
Creation of Resources
The creation of resources can be performed though the Tools menu. The option of New Resources need to be selected for creating a new company resource. All the important criteria need to be filled with the resource information.
Dictionaries
Different entities of resources can be added from this module. An organisation can have different types of resources, therefore, the user can enlist different types of resources from dictionary module for associating Tactic with the business more appropriately.
Permissions for resources
Permissions for resources module can be modified by the users as per the organisational requirements. The primary permission settings associated with resource module are:
- Permission of reading resources
- Creating resources
- Modifying resources
- Deleting resources
- Linking resources with events and agendas
