Email Collector Module

Introduction

Email collector is a service that collects email addresses for better use of the company. This module in Tactic allows to collect emails from mailboxes using IMAP Protocol. This also helps in recording event or data by using important information found in an email.

Installation

There is no need of installing this module, as it is already included within Tactic services.

Setup

For using this module the users need to enable it by using an administrator account. The menu options for activating this module are: Home –> Setup – > Module. The users then need to click on Activate. The modules will be activated after completing this step. The settings icon will be visible at the end of the module box, the users can click in that to access further setup for this module for accessing the functionalities in a better way.

Usage of an Email collector

The feature of email collector helps in scheduling jobs and recording data in Tactic automatically. If the users set maximum number of email, it will help the users to be updated effectively.

Configuring email collector

For configuring email-collector, the users need to access the setup and follow the provided steps.

• Preferred email collector needs to be chosen

• The area of filter needs to be filled with correct options

• The users need to tap on add

• The area of operations to do by collector needs to be filled with correct options

• The users need to tap on add

• The email collectors can be edited by clicking on the edit option

• The email collectors can be deleted by clicking on the delete option
