Introduction

The agenda module is a basic setting that helps the users in managing the planned events and schedules in a more effective manner. With the assistance of notification system based on the organization events and agendas the users can easily be notified on the same date or time (as per the settings). Tactic manages the events and agendas effectively with the help of this agenda module so that the users do not miss out on the important agendas and schedules. Agenda module is an optional part of project and leads module. The primary use of this module is to add a calendar in Tactic in order to manage events and important schedules.

Installation

There is no need of installing this module, as it is already included within Tactic services.

Setup

For using this module the users need to enable it by using an administrator account. The menu options for activating this module are: Home –> Setup – > Module. The users then need to click on Activate. The modules will be activated after completing this step. The settings icon will be visible at the end of the module box, the users can click in that to access setup.

Functionalities of Agenda Module

  • Recording events within important agenda, past events are used for tracking purposes and future events are used for reminder purposes
  • Tactic automatically creates agenda from important project events
  • Email and SMS notification are generated by Tactic in term of event creation. The email and SMS will be sent to the users that are assigned with the email
  • With the activation of resource module, the users can also assign resources to a specific event
  • Admin can include in the agenda view, any events that are recorded into an external calendar
  • The users can also create their own events manually based on their necessity and preferences

Steps to create an Agenda

Agenda can be created automatically by Tactic with the upgradation of a project information. However, for creating a new agenda, the users can click on the Agenda tab. From the Agenda tab, the New event option need to be chosen. All the important information need to be filled.

Modifying agenda

Agenda can be modified by clicking on the modify option.

Deleting agenda

Clicking on Delete is enough to delete the Agenda.
