Introduction
Manufacturing orders are actually a document or a group of documents that covey authority of manufacturing specified quantities. Manufacturing orders contain certain basic information, such as order type, order documents, finish date, start date, status, order quantity and more. Creation of manufacturing orders can be done both in manual and automatic methods. Tactic provides an opportunity of constructing manufacturing orders within the software. This helps the organisation in managing all the important order related elements along with BOM effectively. This module helps the users in managing MRP features, which includes the management of manufacturing orders as well.
Installation
There is no need of installing this module, as it is already included within Tactic services.
Setup
For using this module the users need to enable it by using an administrator account. The menu options for activating this module are: Home –> Setup – > Module. The users then need to click on Activate. The modules will be activated after completing this step. The settings icon will be visible at the end of the module box, the users can click in that to access further setup for this module to access the functionalities in a better way.
Creation of manufacturing orders
Creation of manufacturing orders is need to be performed by going to MRP module form the tab. New Manufacturing orders can be created by choosing the option, “New Manufacturing orders”.
Modifying manufacturing orders
Manufacturing orders cannot be modified post validation.
Deleting manufacturing orders
Clicking on Delete is enough to delete the manufacturing orders.
Other Information
- A PDF document template is available for manufacturing orders just as proposals and invoices.
- Manufacturing orders can be exported to and imported as well.
- Split consumption is available in the course of MO, manufacturing orders.
