Staring the software:

Tactic needs to be installed in your desktop or you need to visit the website by writing the URL appropriately. However, the installation of Tactic can be different based on the configuration of your web server. Launching the application needs to be followed by the process of logging into the software by putting credentials into two fields: Login Id The users need to put down their log in credentials in the empty space. The log-in ID can be integrated with the email ID of the users for decreasing complexity. Password The users need to complete the log-in process by putting down their password. The password requires to be as incorporated in the last-step of installation process.

Homepage:

After logging in the users will be able to see the homepage of Tactic. Homepage of the software contains menu bars. There are two types of menu bars in Tactic that you will be able to find, one vertical menu bar and one horizontal menu bar. There will be a number of boxes in the homepage including a box showing user login details, a box of statistics showing charts and graphs of all activated module. A box showing details of weather and more. The boxes can be modified by activating or deactivating Tactic modules in accordance with the users’ preferences. The users can proceed with modification of boxes by going through certain steps, which are: Home-> Setup-> Boxes.

However, the choices of menu depends on the choice of menu manager, which can be modified by going to: Home-> Setup-> Boxes

Objects:

Objects are the terms that are used to specify the managed records by the software. The objects can be an invoice, a bank account, a customer, a supplier, a user, a proposal and more. The objects are managed directly by the modules of Tactic. The users can create their own objects based on their preferences. Tactic shows objects in different colours based on the status of the object. Different colours associated with different status in Tactic is provided below:

  • Draft Status – if an object is not yet validated it will be shown in white colour
  • Validated Status – When an object is validated it will be shown in colour yellow.
  • Processed, Active or Enabled Status – if the object has been processed it will be shown in green colour
  • Cancelled Status – Cancelled objects are shown in white colour with a cross to signify the cancellation
  • Error Status – objects with crucial issues ae shown in red colour.

Search:

Search field is attached with each and every menu for increasing the convenience of the users. Search for a particular object will be generated based on reference, notes, description and more. Search can be generated by putting down amount as well.
