Introduction

With the help of translation setup the users are given the facility of customising translation. After customising translation the users can see their fixed information the screen or in the PDF. This page allows you to overwrite a translation string as well as search for a translation key or string to overwrite it. You just need to follow the path of Home-> Setup -> Translation More information is provided below:

Overwriting a translation string

Overwriting a translation string allows you to use Tactic in a more personalised manner. For overwriting the translation string you need to fill three criteria without a mistake. The criteria are mentioned below:

• The first criteria is the language that needs to be overwritten
• The second criteria is to find the translation key. You need to go to the field of "Search a translation key or string".
• The last criteria is the translation string that will be shown on the screen

Upon filling all the criteria you need to click on the add button to make the new translation setup work. However, you need to check if the button "Enable usage of overwritten translation" is on is on or not. The overwriting process will only work if it the button is activated. Please note that, if you have selected another language mistakenly then the overwritten change will not show. Hence, you need to make sure that the selected language is same as your default language.

Searching a translation key

This process needs to be competed with the integration of few steps.

• Select the language that you would like to search.
• Click on the language once it appears in the selection list
• Search the translation string by after filling the appropriate field
• After finding out the string that needs to be overwritten the + needs to be clicked.
