Sales Order Module
Introduction
Just as purchase orders, sales order is a document that is generated by the sellers with the mention of details about the sold products or services. A sales order can contain details of the customer along with quantity of the product, price, terms and conditions and more. Tactic helps the users in managing sales order by providing them with the sales orders module within the software. With the help of this module the users can easily manage their sales orders in an effective manner. Sales orders can be converted in invoice as well. Moreover, the users can generate their order related documents into other formats, such as PDF format.
Installation
There is no need of installing this module, as it is already included within Tactic services.
Setup
For using this module the users need to enable it by using an administrator account. The menu options for activating this module are: Home –> Setup – > Module. The users then need to click on Activate. The modules will be activated after completing this step.
Creation of a sales order
Purchase orders can be created from the Commerce Module. The third section in Tactic Commerce area is associated with creation and management of purchase orders. The option of New sales order need to be chosen for creating a new purchase orders. This module also provides a list view of the purchase orders for making it easier for the users, the statuses of purchase orders can be changed from Draft to validated, approved, ordered, partially received, cancelled and refused.
