This page defines different project management features that have been integrated within Tactic. Important project management features such as creating and listing projects, project billing, team assignments, and task management are described in this page along with a discussion on different features of project management modules. 

Project Management

By using Tactic project module the users can easily assign and manage different projects within a single space. The users can easily use the module based on their preferences by choosing the features from “set-up” menu. 
  • The users can add predefined fields of choice in order to manage the data with more efficiency
  • The visualisation of a project can be set by the users or the admins. The projects can be published as “public” to be visible to every person of the company. Or it can be limited to only a group of employees and/or partners.
  • There is a feature to count time that is spent on a specific project
  • Estimated progress can be added to the task as well
  • Sub-task can be added along with the hierarchy of tasks
  • If there is an hourly rate is added to the user card, the cost for every spent hour will also be calculated and reported

Project Billing

Management of financial data and project billing is provided by Tactic is a more effective and easier interface for enhancing user experience. For eliminating confusion and complexity financial data, such as expenses and revenue, has been pulled into a general ledger from other modules. This has made it easier for the users to validate data and put the ledger into their financial system. The additional services provided by this feature are: 
  • Creating invoices without having to face much complexity
  • Sending invoices and managing payments within a secure interface
  • Following the statuses of open invoices and keeping a track
  • Analyzing performance related to billing
  • Reusing invoices within other modules in times of necessity
  • Setting up account number and manage a chart of accounts
  • Validating account number before adding those into ledger
  • Analyzing ledger and balance
  • Exporting ledger into different formats
  • Managing bank receipts and keeping a track of previous payments
  • Managing customer invoices, vendor invoices, billable orders and other important financial and billing related data in different criteria under same menu

Team Assignments

Tactic also provides a criteria for managing team assignments, it helps in keeping a track of progress for the complex and complicated tasks that has been assigned to a good number of employees. 
  • Admins can create group and assign tasks to the participants of the group by granting certain permissions
  • Users are allowed to add their own record and the amount of time that has been spent in the project
  • The progress of the project can be viewed easily while being compared with the previously planned project. A Gantt Chart view will be available with the same as well


Task Management

Management of a single task has the similar configuration of managing a project. Tactic can be used based on the needs of the user. It provides a swift and easy interface to keep a track of the leads, opportunities, and customer project and supplier projects. The admins can easily set the employees and the partners that need to participate in a single task. Moreover, with task management systems the admins can track the development of a task. A Gantt view, presenting the same, will be provided to the admins as well.
